Order taking that invoices, prints, and gets paid

Guests can order via QR into your desk: they build a list on the menu, show a list QR/code, and staff claim it in the order wizard — then invoice, print receipts with VAT per line, and checkout with cash, card, or IRIS (including POS).

One flow from cart to myDATA

Staff stay in Resty: products, tax rates, payment method, provider invoice, and receipt print status — without jumping between disconnected apps.

Why restaurants need more than a QR menu

A QR menu alone is not παραγγελιοληψία. Resty connects the guest phone list to your staff wizard: claim the QR/code, finish payment and myDATA invoicing in one place — without retyping the order.

Same dashboard tools merchants use for live orders — explore each module below.

How QR ordering works end to end

From the guest phone to your Resty order wizard — every step of the handoff.

  1. Scan the menu QR

    Guest

The guest scans the QR on the table stand or printed menu and opens your live Resty menu in the browser — no app install.

  2. Build a list with options

    Guest

They tap +, pick sizes and extras, add notes, and keep a running total in My list (stored on the phone until they continue).

  3. Show list QR or 6-digit code

    Guest

They continue from the list. Resty creates a pending list session (about 30 minutes). The guest shows the QR or code to staff.

  4. Claim in the order wizard

    Staff

Staff open Dashboard → Orders wizard, tap scan/enter code, claim the session. The guest list becomes wizard cart lines.

  5. Review & checkout

    Staff

Staff adjust quantities if needed, set table/mode, choose cash, card, or IRIS, and issue the electronic receipt via your invoicing provider.

  6. Print & show on board

    Staff

Kitchen tickets and fiscal receipts print as usual; the order can appear on the live orders board. Guest sees that staff received the list.

Requires List creator + order-taking access. Guests never pay or create a myDATA document from the phone — that stays with staff in the wizard.

Everything in the order-taking stack

Each block below maps to a real Resty capability. Open a card from the homepage to jump here, or scroll the full guide.

Order via QR — into the order wizard

Guests do not self-checkout. They browse your QR menu, build a wish list, and hand a temporary list QR / 6-digit code to staff. Staff claim that session in the dashboard order wizard — the cart lines load automatically — then staff complete payment, invoicing, and print.

  • Table / menu QR opens your public digital menu (same QR as on your table stands).
  • With List creator on, guests add dishes and options and see a running total on their phone.
  • When Παραγγελιοληψία is enabled, guests tap Continue and get a short-lived list session with a QR and code to show staff.
  • Staff open the order wizard → Scan / enter list code → claim the session. Cart items and order mode merge into the wizard.
  • Staff finish the real order: table if needed, payment (cash / card / IRIS), provider invoice, kitchen & receipt print.
  • The guest phone updates to “staff received your list” — they never create the fiscal order themselves.

Παραγγελιοληψία — order wizard

A step-by-step desk flow for busy floors: choose order mode and table, browse categories, configure product options, add notes, and review the cart before you commit.

  • In-store and takeaway modes with floor tables when you need them.
  • Product options, quantities, line comments, and live cart totals.
  • Edit existing open orders or create new ones without leaving the wizard.

Σύνδεση με πάροχο τιμολόγησης

Connect Wrapp (or your configured electronic invoicing provider) so each checkout can produce a compliant Greek e-receipt / invoice with myDATA fields.

  • Store provider credentials securely in the dashboard.
  • Send invoice lines with net, VAT rate, and VAT amount per product.
  • Keep mark, QR, PDF, and provider URLs on the order for later reprint or audit.

Αποδείξεις & kitchen print

Separate kitchen tickets from fiscal receipts. Track what was printed, reprint when needed, and expose unprinted receipts to your printer tool via API.

  • Kitchen print and receipt print flags per order.
  • Line-level VAT on receipts (rate, net, VAT amount) for clear guest tickets.
  • Public Orders API feeds for unprinted kitchen tickets and receipts.

Πληρωμές με κάρτα

At checkout, staff select card as the payment method. The choice is stored on the order and passed into the invoice payload so accounting stays consistent.

  • Clear cash / card / IRIS choice on the invoice step.
  • Payment method visible on order lists and invoice preview.
  • Works together with POS when a terminal is connected.

Πληρωμές IRIS

IRIS is a first-class payment option in the same checkout grid — ideal for guests who pay from their banking app at the counter.

  • One tap to mark IRIS on the order.
  • Recorded on the invoice request like other payment methods.
  • Keeps staff from mixing cash and IRIS by mistake.

Σύνδεση με POS

Link POS terminals so card acceptance at the physical device stays tied to the Resty order and invoice flow.

  • Configure POS device identifiers in settings.
  • Align card tenders with provider invoice payment types.
  • Reduce double entry between POS and your digital order desk.

QR list → wizard in seconds

No retyping guest picks. Claim the list QR/code and the wizard cart fills with products, options, and quantities.

Legal receipts without a second system

Provider connection means fiscal documents come from the same cart that kitchen already printed.

Payment methods guests expect

Cash, card, and IRIS in one checkout grid — plus POS when you need a terminal.

VAT that matches the menu

Assign tax rates to products (24%, 13%, 6%, 0% with exemption). Lines carry the right rate into invoices and printed receipts.

Print & reprint control

Know which kitchen tickets and receipts are still pending. Reprint from the order list without recreating the sale.

API for printer hardware

Poll unprinted kitchen and receipt feeds with your Orders API key — built for local print tools and kiosks.

How it works

  1. Enable list creator & order taking

Turn on List creator in Settings and use Παραγγελιοληψία so guests can continue from their list to a claimable QR/code.

  2. Guests scan menu QR & build a list

They browse the digital menu, add dishes with options, then continue to show a list QR or 6-digit code.

  3. Staff claim into the order wizard

Scan or type the code in the wizard — cart lines load. Adjust, set table, then proceed.

  4. Choose payment & invoice

Select cash, card, or IRIS and issue the electronic receipt through the provider.

  5. Print kitchen & fiscal receipts

Send tickets to kitchen printers and fiscal receipts to the receipt printer (or via API).

  6. Track & reprint

See print status on the order list, mark printed, or reprint when a ticket fails.
